OUR WOOD

In winter, when the work on the vegetable fields is over, farmer Daniel and his father Paul go into the forest to cut wood.

For this reason we decided to build our house from wood. In order to better develop the many positive properties of wood, we have used a construction system without any glue.

The firewood is then made into wood chips and delivered to the Bruneck district heating plant, from where we also obtain our heat.

The larger logs are sold to local sawmills or, if necessary, consumed ourselves. Thus, the entire barn and the roof of the residential house were carpentered from our wood.
